Breast Lift

Breast lift (mastopexy) is indicated for patients with sagging breasts as a result of previous pregnancies, genetic or due to aging, is also useful if the areola (the pigmented portions around nipples) are enlarged in the area.

Following surgery to get younger-looking breasts, lift with areolo-nipple complex positioned at the proposed size and height.

The surgery is performed under general anesthesia, the patient receiving hospital care.

It can be done with or without implants. Preoperative design varies depending on the chosen technique, but in general (especially if the implants are not used) design complex incisions around the nipple and into the groove areolo-submammary.

Following incisions areolo-nipple complex is positioned above, excess skin is removed and the breast contour is reshaped for a more pleasant and a much more normal position.

Recovery takes about 24-48 hours.

The stitches are removed in 10-14 days.
