Liposuction
You can be a candidate for liposuction operation if you have excess subcutaneous fat that is "resistant" to diet and exercise, or if you want to change your body contour. The most commonly treated areas are under the chin ("chaps" fat), arms, breasts in men, trunk, abdomen, hips, thighs, pubic region, the inside of the knee or thigh (crotch), calves.
It is generally addressed to relatively normal weight patients who want a change in contour, improving the proportions of treated areas, may be useful in patients with excess fat.
It is performed under general anesthesia, the patient receiving hospital. Place small cannula (tube) intake by very small incisions placed in areas visible from the vicinity of heavy fat deposits.
